Motortrend put up a new poll asking what you would rather have. Honestly I think the new Escalade is the best of the new GM 1/2 ton SUV's. I don't think the Tahoe/Yukon look very good but the Escalade does look good.

As far as the Navigator, if this is what Lincoln released in 2007 maybe they wouldn't be so far behind in the luxury SUV market. But even now this truck is pretty out of date.

One thing I couldn't believe, while both of these trucks seem way quick quick for their size, the Escalade is estimated to do a 0-60 in 6.3 seconds. Thats .1 sec faster than a manual toyobaru in a 7700lbs SUV!

Where did you get 7700 lbs from? its 5700-6100 curb depending on length. Also Caddy all the way. The navigator hasn't been interesting to me since they lost that cool rear glass

that makes sense. in which case i would be DAMN impressed if it could sprint to 60 in the same time it takes a new forester xt.

6.2 LS vs Eco-boost seals the deal for me. LS all day every day.

Its not even a competition. I wouldn't even waste the time on a witty response for the person who buys a Navigator because they'll never get it.

Yea, i have no idea why ford has their head up their ass. Why has the 5.0 coyote not been in this thing since 2011? Now they drop the 5.4 and STILL don't put it in there as an option even, ecoboost only? wtf.

They should have used the 6.2L IMO. The low end torque would be better for a heavy ass truck like this

no, I fucked up and looked at the minimal side of the tow rating. I got 3 hours of sleep last night, my bad lol

It'd have to be the Cadillac for me. The Navigator just isn't attractive enough or as technologically advanced as the Escalade. Now if it was Tahoe vs. Expedition, my answer might be different because the new Expedition looks good IMO.

Purely from a looks standpoint I'd go for the Lincoln. Or if the Lincoln is 10k cheaper, I'll go for the Lincoln. That Ecoboost can be turned into a monster for not all that much money. But yes, I do realize the GMT-#### truck is a newer/better design. But either way they are nowhere near my pricepoint for a tow-vehicle, lol.

Range Rover. Wait, that wasn't an option? Okay, fine, Mercedes GL550. Wait, that wasn't an option either? Okay, fine, Audi Q7. Okay, I get it, no European cars. Lexus LX570? Infiniti QX80? Whaddaya mean "American SUV's only"?

Fine, the Escalade.
